Leogang Silver Mines
 

Location: Leogang - Hütten (approx. 35 km) Open: From May to October daily from 10:00 to 17:00 A disused silver mine with mining museum.

Leogang is one of the oldest mining towns in the Salzburg province. In Schwarzleotal traces of prehistoric mining can still be found. Traces which visitors to the mines can follow as they delve into the medieval tunnels which have been made accessible again.
